I just did a coil conversion on my friends 81 long box toy (a three link with a panhard bar) and xj coils, and it turned out better than i had expected, anyway im thinking of doing a similar conversion on my 64 shortbox, but it seems to me that an air bag would always locate its self on the pad (and move less on down travle) than a spring, implying that im only connecting the bag to the frame, any body done this? and why should or shouldnd i do this? and if coils are the consensus what coils to run?
