well, i need to repalce both u joints in my daily driver 86 xj cherokee. i have a spare set of shafts i was going to replace the u joints( in sos i can just swap em and keep down time to a minimum. will prolly also spend the time to grind em out for full circle clips,while im at it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

only prollem is the outer part of the 2 piece disco axleshaft needs that little needle bearing that the inner part slides into.

my only question,now,is what,exactly, do you call that bearing when walking ito a parts store? spent almost 45 minutes at the 'Zone trying to find it,should known better,but hey,its the only parts store in town open 24 hours [img]smile.gif[/img] will check at a real parts store like napa in the am...
