You're right! looks great! Do you plan to re-apply the wood grain after paint? I assume so since you left the trim holes...

No wood-grain for me, going for a more sporty look. As of now, going with a flat black strip in-between the stainless trim.

Was able to block the second coat just where the wood grain was and I think one more coat will do it. Also had a spot on the drivers side near the tail light that I thought might be a problem fixing. So I grabbed the tail light and it is actually going to be behind the fixture so its all good.

Just a few low spots on the passenger side. Going to try and block out most of it tomorrow. My friend Gary is coming over the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and if all goes well we are going to put the color and clear on it.

I spent two days cleaning my barn, I do a little wood working and had scrap wood and saw dust everywhere. So now its pretty clean.

Set up my bench for painting.

Pulled my inner fender wells and front cowl out of the loft. I primed them over a year ago and wanted to spray something before we started on the body Saturday. Sanded everything with 320 and wiped it down with rubbing alcohol.

Hung it up in the barn for paint.
