Funny, but 1 year later I'm read this whole thread from beginning to end.
Thanks for all the support that everyone gave me. I was so 'heads down' in the re-build of the truck that I kinda lost that.
The old Honcho continues to run well. I really havn't done much to it since the UA other than 'wheel the crap out of it, tow my sandrail to the dunes and change some fluids. Well, I guess I did fab up the front dual shock mounts so I could use the shocks that Zoneoffroad gave me and I fabbed up a rear traction bar. I'm learning that shocks are a HUGE part of 'wheeling. If you can pony up the $$$ for some GOOD shocks, it will make your rig much more better and capable.
I know the UA 2012 emails must be flying between all the chosen readers and sponsors and it kinda makes me wanna go. I heard that the rigs must be 80" or less in total width and I saw a pic of a rig in a shipping container.....

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

I really can't imagine them paying to ship everyone's rig to Hawaii... But stranger things have happened.
