anyone have a sorce for shackles for the j10 i know bj's and team grand wag have them but i really dont want to spend $200 for 4 stock shackles. i feel like thats a little out of line for them at that price ill take my chances and run the old ones.
thanks

did a little checking and i have a extra set of lift shackles for a baby cherokee and they are the same width as the stock j10 shackles so the stock baby cherokee shackle should be a direct fit on the j10. and they run 20.99 each on 4wd.com

Do you mind posting the p/n's for the chevy and baby cherokee shackles. I really do need to something about those scary looking lift shackles that came with my Wagoneer . Thanks!

Go to the pull a part yard with a measuring tape. there are plenty trucks out there with shackles that will work on FSJ's. I know around here the chevy shackles are $5 a pair, never pulled any ford shackles but im sure they are just as cheap.

i bought the dorman ones on someones suggestion here. i think they were ford shackles. #722-001, they are a good 1/4" wider than the sleeve in the spring bushing. i didnt feel like finding something else so i just made up a 1/8" spacer plate for each side of the shackle if you want soemthing that is a perfect fit, dont get that one. that is a dorman number, they have a few different ones. they are about 1 1/4" longer. im actually thinking of putting them on the rear to drop it down a little. the lift i bought has my wag sitting 2" higher in the rear than the front.

Wow, now I see why you need new shackles. In california a shackle is generally a non wearing part. Maybe the bushing but not the shackle.
