starter interchange

i found the starter power stud stripped on my 78 wagoneer when i went to change the cable out. when i was looking around online 3 places had pics of the starters and they all looked the same, but my starter looked different. so i was poking around evilbay for some other stuff and saw a starter for a 73 model and it looked like mine i then searched for a 77 starter and it looks like the one i have. whats the difference, is one better than the other? can i use either one? my 78 has a 360 and turbo 400.
