Upcoming Products from 999 Offroad! Shock Towers, Shackle Flip/SOA, Disc brake kits
We just wanted to post some pics of FSJ products we are currently working on and keep everyone updated on what we're doing!
Bolt on front shock mount tower. These towers are 4" taller than stock and allow for the use of longer shocks.
Our shackle flip kits are made from 1/4" steel and are bolt on and require cutting only on the rear of the rear spring. They provide 6 - 6.5" of lift with stock springs. They come with mounting hardware and shackle bushings. Some drilling is required.

This is our first design for the rear of the rear spring. The final product will look like this one except the mounting flange will be designed differently to allow easy insertion of the shackle bushing. This also shows where the original shackle perch was cut off.

These 2 pics show the front of the shackle flip. It is bolted to the frame in 5 places for exceptional strength. Installation requires no cutting and minimal grinding. (We had to smooth out the bottom of the frame where the new mount bolted on)
Our Spring Over Axle kits come for Dana 44 front axles. They are made from 1/4" steel and are weld on. They provide approximately 6 - 6.5" of lift with stock springs (depending on stock spring thickness).

Passenger side on 1976 narrow track Cherokee.

Drivers side
Our rear disc brake conversion kits are nearing completion. They come with new calipers with parking brakes, new rotors, 3/8" steel caliper mounts, drum brake backing plate replacement spacer(stainless steel), new hard and soft brake lines, and new brake line brackets. We will make these kits for Dana 44 and AMC 20 rear axles. These pics are of the rear Dana 44 from a 1991 Grand Wagoneer.

Caliper and mounting bracket

Hard and soft brake lines and brackets.
These are all products that are nearing completion but are not quite ready for sale. Just wanted to keep everyone updated and let you know what new products are on the way!

Looks like the D44 caliper bracket will be a bolt on? That is the main thing that has held me back from doing the D44 conversion, the other kits all have weld on brackets and I dont trust my welding skills that much yet.

We are looking at around $450 right now. We are working on adding custom parking brake cables to the kit and that will raise the price. Our kits will come with EVERYTHING you need for install.

Will you still be able to run the stock rim size or have to get bigger, and how much bigger?

Yep, you can run stock rims! That's what we used to design the kit.

Lou, they look like GM metric calipers found on '80's GM cars. A little smaller than the '76 era Caddy's and typical ch*vy/Jeep fronts. The parking brakes are known to stink on them.

Any update on the brake kits? Are you using the bigger early calipers or the smaller metric calipers?

It's one of the projects we are working on right now. We're refining our original design.

We are going to be working on our shackle flip and SOA starting this week or next. I'm going to have to get back to you on price. It'll depend on how much material we end up using and what kind of price we can get for u bolts.
