...well, actually I started yesterday at 5:30am and ended today at 4:30am.
I drove from my house (zip 96002) to Carpinteria, CA and back. A 4-hour visit with friends at the other end and two 20-minute naps on the way back...

claims the trip was 552 miles one-way. Sounds like my odometer is fairly close.
The Jeep ran great, except once when I let it get too close to running out of fuel. I think there's some gasoline left in the tank (diesel floats on the gas, right?), and when it got low and I was obliged to park on a hill, facing up, it behaved like it was going between running on water and running on rocket fuel.
Funny thing, it's still doing that on occasion. I've put a few tens of gallons through it along with some fuel treatment/injector cleaner. I figure I'll check the fuel filters next...any other guesses?
So, we used 53.1 gallons of fuel, for an average 21.75 miles per gallon. I figure I used about 1.2 gallons of coffee...here are a couple of shots of the Wag posing in all her beauty above the Pacific Ocean.
