I plan on going to next years event and do not have a tow rig. I was wondering who drove the farthest? I better start saving my change for gas money...prolly need to save more than change! hah

Bradenton, FL to Troy, NC is a little over 660miles. However, I drove a Comanche, not an SJ, so it was possibly a little less stressful. Granted, the Comanche runs hot and I have to put the windows down and turn the heater on at times
I wasn't the furthest though. Someone drove a rental car from Connecticut. I don't know his name on the forum, but that is a 700+ mile drive.

I am close to 1,200 miles from NC...that quite a trip for a FSJ. I drove my XJ 1,500 miles in feb. from Northern Utah...but that gets better gas mileage.

MC drove from the great frozen north of Minnesota. I am sure he will chime in with the number of miles.
I drove in from Jacksonville, Florida averaging between 6.5 and 7.5 miles per gallon...450 miles. Next year towing PsyOp.

I drove 900 in the XJ(from NEPA to Atlanta) then about 150ish miles north from Atlanta then the brakes went and I didn't make it, so I don't count...

Note to self: install a hasp & padlock on the beer fridge in case jeepguyp ever comes calling.
