Unhappy

I also have this posted in general tech.
I just got a call from my buddie black bart which some of you know is my ace fabricator. He has a problem he needs to know what is the correct transfercase mount for his dads J20 not sure what year it is but my 76 cherokee mount looks just like his. He even registered as new member here to try and find info LOL. Ok my jeep is a 76 cherokee 360 T18 and a dana 20 transfer case. He is very frustrated he went to checker a 41 mile 1 way trip thinking he had ordered the right thing and ended up spending some time looking through all the books and never finnding any thing that looked like it. I told him if it can be found you guys will be able to do it so please don't let me down.
Ps. I need his dads out of the shjop so I can get mine in

I went through all this about a year ago trying to find that same mount for my J10 with the 360/t18/d20 drivetrain. Ended up stumbling across some kind of specialty Jeep place in Ohio? Let me see if I can find a reciept or something on it with a phone number.

If thats it, that is also spec for an 80's Chevy Camaro. I use them for CJ's all the time. It is pretty much exactly like the Jeep ones. Funny thing is, it is cheaper if you ask for it for a Camaro rather than ask for it for a Jeep, go figure.

Funny how things get swapped around.
That is what part # was givin to me from my trusty Napa. I think when I was looking for one a while back I found there is no difference between the TH400 and the T18/20.

Thanks for the help guys I haven't seen it yet so I have no idea of what it looks like. This is one of those things I trust Craig for I have seen him spend many hours at the local parts store poring over thier books trying to find some thing that will work in there somewhat out of date tractors.
