Box repair idea!?

So tonight i was cleaning out the shop and had my J20 doors leaning against my box (which the lower seam looks like swiss cheese) and got to thinking the body lines on the door and box appear the same. Has anyone used extra doors and fabbed patch panels for bedsides? Any reason it wouldnt work?

Nice! If I ever decide to repaint the truck, I might go with that!

I seem to remember when BJ's still sold the bedsides the ad read something like "Stop welding all of those old doorskins together to fix your j truck, buy these instead."

The real trick would be to get it to where it doesn't look wavy. I helped a somebody do this on a C20 and it came out great but you could definately tell where each doorskin ended.
