Pre Runner Style Bumper Guard

Hey all, I saw the post from the archives about he pre-runner style bumper guard/ light tabs and was wondering if there was any interest in them. The company I work for has a machine shop so im sure if there was some interest we could put some together. Here is a pic for a refresher.

Let me know!

Travis

not quite sure yet, it would depend on volume, that design is merely to hold lights so it would be a lighter metal, for an actual guard it would need to be thicker. Ill head over to the shop and see if i can get a rough idea. Ill keep everyone updated!

beefer that just a light holder and attach to the any of the stock bumpers, heck yes.
Maybe have the option of shipping unpainted with a few extra straight peices cut with the diamater of the guard cut into one side so if we wanted to have two bars going into the grill,...yes that would be way kool!!

Those are pics of a truck that River Beast had. I think he sold it. If your going to make those pre-runners make them so they don't attach to the bumper brackets as shown. I'm not sure that those would hold the weight of the front of the truck.

As was mentioned, the original design was meant really only for looks/light tabs...maybe to keep some brush out of the way. It is in no way meant to support the weight of the truck like a stinger. It would take a lot more engineering to link that into the frame + a lot thicker tubing.
