    Gear indicator for automatic?

Does anyone know where I can order or purchase a gear indicator for a 1989 GW? Greatly appreciated.

I've looked and come up empty, BJ's used to have them but they're gone now.

They look like an easy repop I'm not sure why nobody has done it. I ended up just finding a good original.

look at LMC truck. Apparently the later GW used early GM truck ('67-'72) column parts. I've seen it posted before that the indicator parts interchange.

I've posted this information on several threads, and never had anyone come back and say 100% yes or no.

Shop from thousands of parts and accessories to help you restore, maintain, and customize your Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge or Ford truck or SUV. Keep 'em on the road with the right part, right price, right now.

My 89 GW had the indicator broke off. Pulled a good one from another GW but not sure how to install it. It pulls straight out of the housing but with mine broke off in the housing, I cannot see a good way to get the broke part out of the housing so I can pop the replacement back in.
Will this require me to tear the steering column apart and replace the whole assembly?

I can make both shift indicators now.

The early version is made out of white translucent acrylic
Later version is made of black ABS

A lot of GM vans from the 80s and 90s used the same indicator.

Unless you can find an early 80's GM in the junkyard that still has one, these are impossible to find, and no longer made/stocked. I paid $40 on fleabay for an NOS indicator and cover.
Nice to see someone producing these.
