Here are the Wiseco pistons but they require expensive rings.

      Wiseco pistons come with rings.

What do you expect the power output of this motor to be? Will it clear 400hp? 6250 RPM rev limiter capable? If it's not what would you change to make it rev to 6250? I'm looking to embarrass some more imports in the new wagon.

With the relatively small cam and the Performer intake manifold my guess would be about 350hp at 5000 rpm. It should have plenty of low end grunt thought, which is the goal with this one.
To clear 400 hp you need a bigger cam and better intake and bigger carb.
Page 3 shows dyno results for a 9.5 compression ratio 401 with a Isky 280HL cam, Torker intake and 750 Holley which made 380hp at 5200 rpm.
The first one up is #60. 67RogueXCode: 343 block, 360 crank. Bore: 4.125 Stroke: 3.44 CID: 367.78 Heads: 1986 360 Dog Leg. C.R. 9.47:1 compression ratio Intake: Eddy Performer

If you want your peak horsepower at 6250 just go with a bigger cam, Torker intake and bigger carb.

600/650 cfm. I wouldn't go much bigger unless you change to a Air Gap or Torker intake manifold.

Hi All, Has anyone managed to successfully install a GM 4L80E Transmission into a Pre 1980 Cherokee and connect it to the BW1339 Quadra Trac? On the assumption (I'm pretty sure it will be) that my Cherokee has the BW1339 Quadra Trac Transfer Case my plan is to fit a later Overdrive Transmission using one of the BJ's

Spent 3 hours on the block tonight getting the threads chased and the outside of the block cleaned with one coat of primer and one coat of paint. Now I can clean the inside and start the assembly process.
