Looks like the person was trying to keep the mounts from flexing to the side and breaking off. That's about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I would say that is a definate EPIC FAIL!

BJs longer shackles work great... Those things do not appear to be shackles so much as pieces of random flat stock loosely tacked together.

Looks to me like they tried to provide driveshaft clearance through their 'tarded cross-member.

                        Doors are gone...

Want to guess where the doors went from Corey's shackle debacle Chero? I stood and scratched my head at that work for 10 minutes trying to wrap my mind around the mess somebody had going there. Wish I had gotten there sooner, that was a solid truck with lots of good parts other than the obvious suspention wonders.

Hey rob, I only have the bracket for the AC and plate that supports the power steering pump to the water pump. Would you take that?

my best guess would be that there was too much weight centralized on the single top leafspring, which weighed down onto the second one eventually curling it as well. It looks like the .. uhm.. clip (terminology fail).. that holds them together had also failed. Before/After the 'shackle lift', we may never know, but i'm sure that's a major contributing factor.
