So, I got the front clip removed last weekend too, just didn't have any pictures. I am currently working on a few small odds and ends until I can get the frame all welded up. But I have a few questions that maybe someone on here could help me with.
    1. In the second picture, I have my alternator. How do I tell which alternator I have? It says Remy-Delco on the back, but I didn't see a part number. Rockauto has so many options for the Delco. I have fried two batteries and am going to either rebuild or replace it in an effort to see if that is the cause.

    2. In picture four there is what appears to be a vacuum hose that has been cut off by the firewall. Is it a vacuum hose, and if so, where does it go? Maybe this is why I can't get my defrost and non-ac air working.

    3. In picture three, there is a part at the 11 o'clock position in relation to the oil filter. It appears to have a wire running to it. What is it? Oil pressure sending unit/part is all that I could figure.

I will sit back and wait to be learned. Also, I appreciate all of the kind comments and feedback.

Pic 4: I believe that's a drain for your heater or AC.
Pic 3: Oil pressure sending unit.

I can't help on the alternator. Nice progress btw.

Got all four banjo bolts successfully out the first time on the passenger side, but I had no such luck on the driver side. I think there are some pictures of that from before. How do I get those out?

If you can post pics of the frame repair at some point, I would like to see, thanks.

Will do man. It will take a little bit. I coach high school track, and track season is in full swing.

Frame has been welded. I also cleaned up the welds a little with some Evercoat Tiger Hair. It is a long strand fiberglass resin and I really liked it. For a first timer, I felt it really easy to use. Here are some pics. I am gonna try to sandblast a little in the next coming weeks and get the underneath done for good.

So, I am gonna do a fuel tank swap. I just can't see putting a tank back in that we know will cause frame issues. I am going with either the ford or blazer rear tank. As I plan on going carb'd still, I am thinking all that I need to do is keep the original mechanical pump, rehose the new tank, and find a sending unit/modify one to work with the new tank. Does this sound right? There is no need for an external pump is there?

After moving and remodeling a house, I am back in action again. I finally got to work on the jeep today for the first time since the move and I found out that some of my parts are missing. I am specifically looking for the levers and related parts for a left rear drum brake. I have drums and shoes and springs, just nothing else. I did not find an easy source for them, so maybe someone on here has some left over from a disc swap.

Welcome back! I'm sure someone has a box in the back of their garage with the parts you need (Unfortunately just not me). Great thread and I am amazed at the before and after on the frame!
