Please correct me if I'm wrong... I can't pre-register as a spectator... Yes?
Spectators $5 at the gate.
You really need to to put your GW in the show.
We need a big showing of Full Size Jeeps this year so they don't lump us in with some other class or like what happened last year, 1 class that included Umlimited, Modified, and Stock and only gave out 3 three trophies 1st 2nd and 3rd. There were approx. 20 FSJs entered last year, some other classes only had 3 vehicles entered in them and they had nine trophies.

As in the perpetual 1st place winner of the Full Size "Unlimited" Class that lives in York yet brings it on a trailer, are you?
Or the guy that treats us other FSJers like we have the plague?
I actually forgot about that guy. I hope someday he removes alot of the unnecessary bling and makes it look like it was built in today's world. It's a beautiful truck unfortunately built to late eighties/early nineties show standards. Tons of show but not much go. Kind of the opposite of my truck.

We were planning to go again this year with the bride in the YJ now that it has some new legs and I in either the FSJ or the Orvis (she couldn't understand why there weren't any in the show last year..8^).
For the first time in a long time, all my junk is operational!
But...as fate would have it, I got popped for another deployment. I don't think they will fly me back for the weekend.
Hope everyone has a good time.
Stop by the MVC tent and tell Rob that Bryan said Hello and that I am ready for him to pick up the GW and start on it...
He did an awesome job on my YJ. Great guy to deal with, can build anything as well as body/paint (actually, I think Matt does the painting) if you want to get something done and dont mind that his shop is out in the middle of PA. He should have a show out there. His place is amazing!
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

I have sent in my registration for my stock 89 gw and plan on being there on Saturday. I have been cleaning it, but have come to realize that my wheels will not be nice until I have someone restore them. I am looking forward to meeting as many members as I can. Lets hope for great weather.
See ya Saturday!
Saturday at the Jeep Show 1 pm is the annual FSJ Owner's meeting under the air conditioned tent of Z&M Jeeps. You should here several annoucements over the PA system, so don't forget to stop by!
The weather forecast is typically HAZY, HOT, HUMID with ABUNDANT sunshine. I have NEVER seen it rain at the PA Jeep Show in the 12 years that I have been in attendance. The weather forecast for this weekend is AWESOME!!
As much as I hate to say this, I may not have an FSJ there...........none of my FSJs are street legal and my tow rig has been in the shop for 3 weeks now.
FSJ-Earl
2002 F350 Diesel - tow rig / family hauler

Any word on a misting tent for this year?
I'll be lucky if my truck makes the ride out this year. It's slowly wearing itself out.
