i never watched top gear until i read this thread. all of the myriad seasons are available on netflix, though. i'm watching them at work, and man, this show rocks! thanks guys!

Have you guys ever seen season 1 of TG-UK? It sucked too.

Wait for the show to build. Ep 2 was better than Ep 1, haven't seen 3 yet. Let them go with it and see where it leads.

You need to watch Season 9 episode 3 (i think) they go on a road trip from Miami to new orleans. See if you can download the BBC videos, the ones on Netflix cut out parts of each episode

Christopher Titus and Stacey David would make a US top gear show. Throw in Lou Santiago from the first season of musclecar and that show would dominate.

Of course maybe those three huge personalities would clash and it would be a disaster...

My boyfriend was SOOO pissed when the guy said that it was from a Grand Cherokee. I was a bit too; coming from a person who is supposed to know cars, didn't even know what car they pulled that seat out of... on that note alone, that guy must leave the show. :| my god man.

as I said before; don't get too angry about the fact that corolla has NO idea what a Grand Wagoneer is.. He can't drive a stick, and really isn't funny.. so yeah.. meh <_<

Yeah the first season of UK sucked but they were smart and fired the one host and got captain slow instead, that is what the US version needs but instead of one, they need to replace all 3

I don't think that show could ever be big enough for Leno. Although he would be great on it it could never afford him. That said I think all the people mentiond as possable hosts should be guests and take a run around that track. I'd love to see so major car type personalities on there. I hear Kid Rock is on next week so at least it's drawing someone I know...
