Headers installed, y pipe fab'ed and installed. Exhaust leak at the head.

The tone of my exhaust is fantastic. I really like it. My throttle response is light years better and i can really feel the difference in they way my truck drives. Its still no sports car but it will keep up with most of the other cars around me now.

SOmetime in the next week i'll order a set of the copper header gaskets and hopefully those will seal it up. I really hate exhaust leaks.

Tight fit between the Xfer case and chassis.

Spend the extra money for the Remflex gaskets and NEVER look back. I swear by these things even after trying a couple different copper gaskets. Plus they're thick enough to re-use a few times.

Did a quick google search and found them directly from the manufacturer. Is there a better place to order them?

I just ordered a FelPro set for cheap (I know, I'm a sucker) and will install them soon but if they don't seal, I'll take your advice and get the RemFlex.

I use Tech Line Coatings Black Satin for years on exhaust pipes.

Once it gets hot from the exhaust it bakes on to the pipe.

Once it is baked on it acts as a heat barrier.
