          got pretty much all i need to assemble it. might drop the pistons in today.

          got a couple cans of Detroit Diesel green here,might be a DD green engine this time.

                slugs are in.





                they are at or just above deck. which is good.

                full down stroke.



                notched cylinders for bigger rod ends and stroke clearance.






                rod journals are running just tight of .002".

                              Mike, are those the bolt-on rockers for bridged heads? If so, how do you like them? I haven't seen much feedback from guys that have actually used them.

                                yep. bolt in for bridge heads.

                                they're Harland Sharpes,so they're good.

                                they came in the motor on that '76 wag i bought a couple years ago. i wouldn't spend the money they want for these without going to real studs in the heads.
