Well I picked up my 1996 5.9l on the 28th of April and will begin tinkering with it to figure out what was done to it already...
plans are to:
1. Adjust timing from 12.5 degrees to 16-16.5 degrees.
2. KDP fix if it hasn?t been done already
3. 3k GSK
4. A #100 fuel plate and adjustments
5. Replace HX35 with my modified HE351
All those mods are free, yes, free because I either have what is needed or can make it easily...
What I would like to do is replace the head gasket and get some arp headstuds along with +60lb valve springs but the cost is getting a little out of control. $600 more for headstuds, gasket and springs...
But either way, I will post more as I get stuff done...
