I was a little worried about re drilling the hole for the stainless trim, but looks like it worked out good.

Also was able to put a coat of high build primer on both of the front fenders, but had to hurry and drag the fenders inside due to rain.1978 Wagoneer

this is proof that some of the best work
is done in shops behind someones house,...
just like kaiserjeeps,... that built Sadie the wagoneer
and to repeat my favorite saying,...
"nothing beats human determination"
( or any kind of determination/ambition from anything )

In a little less than a month I was able to do all the body work, rust repair, and high build primer on four doors, two front fenders, and a tailgate. That's like four days per body part!!!!! And also did the relocation of the tailgate latch holes. I'am not the most focused person, so yes this is a big pat on the back for me!!!1978 Wagoneer

I blocked out all the panels twice and put one more coat of high build primer and guild coat. I will block all the panels one more time with 600 grit before painting.

Also picked the best access cover for the tailgate, cleaned and primed it, and a bunch of other stuff.

The primer on your access cover for the tailgate and a bunch of other stuff looks different than the other primer you have been using on body panels, dash, etc. Is it?Chuck McTruck 71 J4000

Yes, it is self etching primer for applying directly to bare metal. After the fact, I talked to a few guys that have used high build primer on bare metal and had no problem. I had a quart and used it. Hope I don't have a problem with it.1978 Wagoneer
