Another comment - many of these bright colors would look good in the classic Jeep two-tone paint, ie white above, color below, or vice-versa. The earlier trucks were white above (white roof, hood, and above the belt line), which is more practical than white below.

    Example:

    Tim Reese
Maine beekeeper's truck: '77 J10 LWB, 258/T15/D20/3.54 bone stock, low options (delete radio), PS, hubcaps.
Browless and proud: '82 J20 360/T18/NP208/3.73, Destination ATs, 7600 GVWR
Copper Polly: '75 CJ-6, 304/T15, PS, BFG KM2s, soft top
GTI without the badges: '95 VW Golf Sport 2000cc 2D
ECO Green: '15 FCA Jeep Cherokee KL Trailhawk

Are those YJ flares?? I like how they look. Always hated the squared off rears on the TJ.

As others have mentioned those bright colors look ok on a small vehicle but too loud on a full size. Saw a J truck painted some loud electric blue from a Ford Probe or some such little car. Truck looked like a clown car. I like the tutone white on green idea. With the investment cost of a pro paint job you'll be stuck with when done I think I would or have someone else photochop colors onto a pic of your truck. Won't be sales brochure quality pic but it'll give you an idea.

The Rescue Green would look great on there if you did the bottom - rockers in black to break it up. That would tie it together with the black wheels and bumpers.

              Thanks for the comments guys...!
That Sand tan has got me thinking now. I got a little time yet before the paint hits the truck.
Little more body work to do. And the two tone idea, is something I just might consider also.....

Tan with black trim always looks great. No matter what. I was close to painting mine in a black/tan theme.

I always like this color on the new jeeps. Way better than the rescue green in my opinion...

                    DIY Satin Black for me...

This is the route I took Satin Black Rustoleum paint job. Did it myself along with the minor body work. Cost was a factor for me so I took my time and learned how to do it. Small HF compressor cheap and paint gun.

Taken this past weekend tailgating. It has held up very well.

See if you can find a sample swatch card of the dark green with metallic GOLD
THAT WAS ORIGINAL JEEP COLOR ON J's IN 1982..

Almost a grass green..Gold in it makes it pop....

Still searching for that one certain color yet. Not sure why I'm fixated on green at the moment.
Looking for that certain color that would look good on a full size truck that stands out for just being as differant as seeing a J20 on the road.
Something other than the norm I guess.
Seen this color at the Ford dealership this past weekend, and I'm leaning towards it.( Gingerale metalic)

Almost a sage type of color that would look good with blacked out trim or a little splash of chrome...
