I'd recommend looking at the seal on that YJ tank. They had a recall on some years of those as the seal was prone to leaking due to improper torquing on assembly. I ended having my YJ worked on, then putting in a new seal with plenty of gasket goop to keep the tank from getting water and dirt in it. It's a pin in the but dropping the take to clean the filter sock and tank out. Just an FYI.
Breakfast amounts to one live toad, I choke that mofo down, and I am rest assured that nothing worse will happen to me for the rest of the day.

If the 360 didn't run so well I would think about it! Spare tire mount is gone. I'm most likely just gonna carry one in the back like a late model Grand Cherokee.

what did you do with the roof? I have a donor rig I will be parting out in the next couple months. If you want the roof panel I can slice it off for you once I part the rig out.

Nothing yet. I was thinking about just fiberglassing it for strength and water proofing then just install a new vinyl top, buuuuuuuuuuuut if you have one you want to get rid of that might be a good idea. Keep me posted as you part it out.

I'll let you know. I'd be REALLY happy if you'd take the whole shell! It will be chopped heavily though, i'm snagging it for the rear section, to get the old taillights and repair my rotten mounts. It'd be pretty easy to slice it off at the pillars and just run it down in the pickup.

Why 3.31's? Did you already swap out the rear axle?? 60-70's wag's never came with 3.31's. Only 80+ did. 3.07's and 3.54's came in 70's wags. With some 60's coming with 4.10's (afaik i6 only).

Unless the tag is lying it has 3.31's. Yes, the rear is out. I have a good set of 4.10's and install kit on my bench. So, I might buy another set for the front and just go that route. I wanted the later style 44 anyway.

331 was an optional ratio on Kaiser era wags. My Super had 331s.
409s were avail for I6 and V8 Kaiser wags n trucks
