As the other thread stated these seats are direct bolts in. As soon as I finished attaching the brackets to the seats and set them in the jeep it started to rain something fierce. It has not rained around here for some time, so I can't complain. I did not get to install the center Arm rest/ seat yet will work on that tomorrow. My seats came from a durango with power seat on the driver side and manual on the passenger. I made a few observations while I was attaching the brackets to the seats The power seat switch from the durango looks remarkably like the Wagoneer switch, just a little more modern. The connectors are a little different. but they look very similar. I am searching for a pin out of the durango power seat switch and harness. If my suspicions are right I should be able to make a plug change and use the durango switch with the waggy power seat bracket and leave the durango switch mounted in the stock position on the seat. If not it will take a little surgery to get the waggy switch in place. The passenger side will have to have something fabricated to hold the switch. Here is a few pictures of the switches, what do you think? I will put up better pictures of the switches and plugs in the morning when I can break out the good camera and take some macros of them. iphone pictures will have to work for now.

I think I have figure out which wires belong to which switch on both of the switch harness. I think I am going to test it out on the durango power seat bracket first so that i do not destroy the wagoneer power seat bracket.Life happens while you are making plans...............

The drivers side on mine, I did the surgery route and was way simple, I'll try and get a pic sometime for ya. The pass side I still haven't mounted but I think a simple bracket can be made to hold it.73 j-4000 "buttercup"-SOA 36's 4 door cab

On to the to the passenger side after a quick run to Home depot for some 5 inch corner L brackets, 1/8 thick 1 1/2 x 48 aluminum Angle and assorted screws and nuts.
I just need to round the corners on the bracket and paint either to match the seat or Black it out. I have not decided yet.Last edited by Achilles; 09-06-2012, 04:33 PM.Life happens while you are making plans...............

Durango Back Seats
I tried one when I picked up my front seats and it didn't fit. Too long and didn't have the fender notches. I would love to know what would work though.Certified Novice Mechanic...
