New Stock Leaf Springs for $360

I found a shop here in Mass that will sell stock leaf springs - all four - for $360.

7 leaf Front - 22.5" from center to front shackle / 24" to rear frame mount
5 leaf Rear - 31" from cent to rear shackle / 26" to frame mount.

Since I am local there is no shipping to pay. But, is there anything I should be worried about in terms of quality? They said they are made to stock specs. so if that is true, what else is there to worry about? They are made in Michigan.

Of course, I would like a little more lift but this may be tempting.

Not bad... A question I would have: Who makes them?

Agreed...who made them. Where isn't nearly as important as who.

Just like any other item we need for our FSJs its a matter of do they really know what an FSJ is and what it really needs? Like it was said before, its not really where but who ... and what their reputation for FSJ specific stuff is.

          Supplier

Spoke to the seller again. All he can say is that his supplier is in Michigan and the springs say Made in U.S.A on them. That's all he can provide and he will not disclose his suppliers name

That's really cheap I'd do some homework on the Co. in MI that supposedly makes them. If they do,find out where the spring steel they use comes from or if they're made in China etc and the MI Co. just adds their label or if they're even actually new and not just re-arched old springs with new bushings and paint job

I think I would probably pass. Anyone not willing to pass along the manufacturer sounds like they're hiding something to me. Too cheap to be truly usually means....too cheap to be true.
