dash glove box door, when to install

I have been working on the metal frame and dash pad for a 76 j-10
dyed the pad from Levis blue to black

got better metal frame and painted that black

glove box door is off right now

    have new bj's cardboard liner.

the guys at the body shop are ready for the dash and column, but

I am running behind ( kidney stone hit me sat morning at 7:30 ) I amstill not back to normal from the pain and pain killers.

can I wait on the glove box door and liner until I get the truck back

or is it way better to put it in now ?

figured it would be easier to install radio, vent cables, defrost ducts etc

without the liner and door on there.....

P.S. anyone got. good shot of instrument panel of a 76 j10 ?

Oh man! Kidney stones are no joke!!! I had 2 of them in my 20's, now I drink a gallon of water every day at my desk. I feel for you, Dave! First you get threatened with a Hurricane, now Kidney stones?! It's been a month!!!

It is definitely a PITA to install the glovebox when the dash is installed but many of us have done it. I would install it later for the exact reason you mention.

Do any of the images on the following link help with the dash pic question:

If not, maybe someone else has some handy. I could get pics of a '78 J10 dash if you wanted, but let me know if that would help or not.
