Has anyone actually seen a 1991 engine?

My engine has 1971 block and heads, from the factory! The engine tag says march 15, 1972 and the vehicle tag says April 1972.

I bet the engines and/or parts sat in a warehouse for a few months before they were assembled into a vehicle.

Also typical, since you cannot assemble the final product until the parts have been built.
