1991 Sand Carpet Color

I thought I'd venture into the pris side of the forum, as I know I'll end up here sooner or later...

I'm looking to buy some new ACC carpet mats in the Essex material, but can't tell which color will be the best match for my 1991's sand interior.

1004A Cream or 1035A Beige are the two I've narrowed it down to, but does anyone have a definitive answer?

I'm in the UK so samples can be a little hard to get my hands on, but I've placed an order with BJs for some other bits and asked if they can throw some in.

cream 1004 is the best and a very good colour match.
I tested it out a while ago.
However I could find stock carpet which is always the best solution.

I received some samples yesterday and I'm pretty pleased.
I ordered:

1004A - Cream
1035A - Beige
1053A - Silver (It looked right in the pictures!)

I'm fairly stuck between 1004A and 1035A but currently leaning towards 1035A.
It very much seemed to depend on which bit of carpet I was comparing to, as I guess they've all faded at different rates over the years.

I'd say 1004A is a bit more brown, while 1035A is a little lighter, but I think that looks a little better.
I'll do more testing today and come up with a decision.

I went with a Mercedes carpet, it had a very tight pile and a good color.
Also, almost a 100 sf of Fatmat on the floor, two layers on the trans hump
and rear wheel well.

that mercedes carpet does look very nice ( high quality )

did it come from ACC ?
auto custom carpets ?

and someone did some nice upholstery work

and that sand interior looks great
( the best color ever used inside a wagoneer in my opinon )

That does look nice! Seems to match really well.

Fortunately all the carpet in mine is in good condition, which unfortunately means it's harder to get the mats to be a perfect match.
I've not ordered yet but hopefully will soon!

Bought Coco Mats before I had the seats redone. still use them.

Those look great! I'm tempted now to get some like that for our '74 Ford truck.

I've lucked out with the mats for the GW and have some great condition original ones arriving today - hopefully they should match great.

Hey, BrynjiminJones, reviving an old post; wondering which direction you went? Am working on a 90 GW with Sand interior & not sure yet which way to go, between cut pile & Essex, as well as, colors. Just had a near perfect set of Sand-colored seats fall in my lap & its kickstarted cosmetic improvements. With BJs closed for the holidays, Im hung up a few days.

Saw the sample pics on google drive, but was not sure if all of the pics were of the same samples? As the colors seemed to vary based on the fabric color in the background.
