In my mind, I sometimes imagine what amazing grace would paint as a self portrait. I do believe it would look something like the sunrise this morning.

We got MRI results finally = torn ACL. Got appt with the best ortho guy in the region on Jan 4. He will be able to give us details. Looks like I wear this knee brace for a while. And now for something totally different... If you have a Full Size Jeep, go outside and hug it now. It could save your life some day.Flint

I called to get some details on the knee damage. There is a partial tear in the ACL, a longitudinal tear of the lateral cartilage meniscus, thickness defects in other cartilage I can't remember the name of and an incidental discovery of a small cyst in the joint. The cyst is probably from previous injury/repair from 19 years ago. Until a plan is established, I need to go easy on it and wear the brace.
Something else I have almost mentioned a few times, but have held back. Because of this event, Krista and I have truly realized that we have some great friends who care about us through this cyber connection. We have met many great people through the Ouray Invasions and other gatherings of FSJers. There are many more on the forum we have yet to meet. So, we have felt humbled in this realization.
Another thing. To Everyone who was on the trail ride that day... Not only do I thank you for the actions taken immediately in and throughout the crisis, but I also feel for the emotions that were stirred up in you all as you responded. If it had been me in response, my head have been rocked.
Oh yeah, that ride out to the ER in Ralph's GW, boy was it fast! I think we only hit about every third or fourth bump in the trail.
Thank You AllFlint

Today I had my 4th set of Xrays done on the right side ribs at the chiropractor office and finally got a view of a clean break in the right rib on T11 about 1.5" from the vertebra. Looks like 3 months for healing. The spine above T11 is also S shaped from the injury.
It ONLY took a month to get a clear diagnosis.
This whole thing has just been crazy people. I think I should just hibernate this winter to heal.Flint
