I noticed that too, but i thought just the image was "bent" from taking a picture of a TV.

iirc IFS was standard on a 2wd rigs back when IFS was available. Actually I think 2wd option went away with the IFS.

I know 4WD IFS was an option on some years, but I can't really tell for sure if that one has locking hubs on the front. If so, IFS was one of the most expensive options available at the time IIRC.

While perhaps not NASA, I have proof my Jeep has been to Roswell. I'm assuming it was used to transport aliens.

It's not an SUV. It's an SEV: Surface Exploration Vehicle.

Trailers belong behind trucks, not under them.

Why? Because nobody in the history of 'wheeling has ever said, "good thing I put those smaller tires on my rig."

That Wagoneer probably is a 2WD. No 4WD emblems on the lower fenders. IFS was last used in 65, and that is a late 65-67 (67 being the last year for 2WD) so it's probably not IFS.

There's a cream colored late 50's-early 60's Studebaker Lark with "Atomic Energy Commision" stenciled on the side. 289 V8 so it can outrun the fallout. I always thought it would make a great novelty item to run some green lights under it so it glows in the dark.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.

That would be sweeet! Green light also behind the grill and at the windows... It would be sweet to see that at the Roswell Alien Festival. They have a pretty nice car show.

There's a member here who bought a NASA J20 within the last year or two from the Govliquidation site. It's since been listed here and Ebay a few times for sale for a pretty high price.

I'd say if any still are in service they're either at White Sands or Edwards.
You know it's bad when your car's on the EPA's 10 most wanted list!
