    simo, rang, widetrack, bkilby,...

    THANX for the compliments

    every time I do a vehicle I say,.....never again...

but this thing is like a Life Sized tonka toy or stomper truck.

front bumper is OEM polished aluminum,

rear bumper is custom made replica of OEM in White....

I like both too, going to enjoy them both for a while.

      WHOA!!

      WOW !!

Such a COOL looking truck !! And I'm generally not a truck guy.

Great work - Very, very nice!!!

I like the chrome myself.. but I am old, and old school generally.

        CU4wheelin

THANX MAN !!!!........ I APPRECIATE IT.

when I did the wagoneer a few years ago

and learned of the j10's and their potential, I had to do one.

          WORKHORSE

I drive my 1978 K5 on an almost daily basis

for work at the sign shop/mini-storage,...8 to 10 MPG

thank goodness I have a 1/2 mile commute to work,....

I have had this K5 for 25+ years

had it flawless at one point, but now it is needing cosmetic attention.

put a GM crate 350 in 25+ years ago, and it has been trouble free....

it has hauled a lot of wagoneer and j10 parts,.....

SO I WANTED TO ASK WHAT MAKES A K5 EVEN BETTER ?

ANSWER: WHEN IT IS FULL OF JEEP PARTS !

AHAHAHAHAHAAH!!! I am sure the Square body guys would disagree!! LOL!!!

it's a sweet Blazer for sure, Dave! Hopefully your Honcho gives you more troublefree years and miles, too!

BTW, I asked my 17yo son for his opinion on White v. Chrome; His vote was chrome.

With that red paint, vintage stripes, and white roll bar, it's white wheels all day for me.

                      Really sharp.

Did you know? Willys is just Willis spelled differently, but pronounced the same. Neither Willy nor his apostrophe are involved.

this weekend a friend who is an electrician, and OCD to boot,....

                          installed new door jamb switches

                          wired factory cargo light

                          & factory interior dome lamp

                          all associated switches and wiring

traced a "no ground" for rear marker lamp

diagnosed bad horns, and I replaced with new dual horns

                          hooked up CB power cord.

now I plan to install BJ's headliner first.....

                          my camera battery died....photos soon.

I have to say Dave, I prefer the Chromies as well. Really nice looking blazer, I wonder what it would look like with those white wagon wheels on it...
