Its not looking good this year. I have a family gathering on Sun. that I really should goto. Plus my leaf springs are so bad I can't even drive it around the parking lot without the tires getting torn up. My trailer needs some maintenance which Ill never get too. Gas is expensive, etc etc..... I thought about coming down in my XJ and entering it in the show.. I don't know, just not the same.

I'll be there Saturday but unless I get real motivated on Friday the GW won't be. I still need 5 tires, get insurance and it registered again (Historic, no big problem) and I need to figure out if my ignition switch is bad. I did start it Saturday for the first time in over a year though , so that's a good sign.

With the condition of my Jeeps I've only ever done liability only with my carrier (ERIE). Sorry don't have any experience with higher coverage levels. Post up in General Discussion though, I've seen threads on this on here before.

              We made it to Pennsylvania

My son and I have been incredibly busy getting our Wagoneer ready for the Jeep show. On 5 July we pulled out the tired 360 engine. Then we built up a 401 and installed it in the Wag. We spent many nights wrenching until 1 AM. On Wed 13 July we left St. Charles, MO headed for PA. The Wag ran great and even got between 12 to 13 MPG. My son ended up driving about 350 miles on his learners permit.

So far we have had quite the adventure. We will look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday.

              Engine Specs.
              74 401 40 over
              BBC TBI with 350 injectors
              VAFPR set at 19 psi
Crane H260 cam, springs, and lifters
              Crane SBF roller rockers
              2131 intake

Yea, the crazy part was leaving for the trip after only about 140 test miles. We ended up changing the break-in oil in a grocery store parking lot in Dayton OH. As far as memorys go this should be a good one. There is no way I could have made this trip without my son's help. This was a father-n-son effort to the nth degree.

Austinaubinoe...I"m look forward to checking out your rig.

Make sure you apply for the longest distance driven award.

Sounds like quite a boy you got there.

Can't wait to see the Jeep.

Saw Plenty of familiar faces and but the face to several more IFSJA nicknames.

I can only go one day this year, here's a link to my photo impressions (FSJ) of the show.

The quality of the FSJ stock gets better each here. If you're not here (or there I'm home now) you're missing out.

Eric, don't take the FC home, just have your guy come straight down I83 to exit 10 (Md) and drop it off at my house!
