back of the carb?
thought the brake connection goes to the back the pcv to the front on the carb.Richard Ricketts

Don't forget to follow the instructions and install the heat shield underneath, as well as using a bathtub type intake gasket.If you don't you will get all kinds of blow bye due to oil being pulled up thru the PVC hose.?Don't do anything by half.
