I would have to say the most unique mod I ever made to an FSJ was for adjustable ignition timing from the cab.....
I took a Mico lockable throttle knob and cable from a dead tow truck and installed it under the dash of my 74, the original Blair Jeep Project. I ran it to a fabbed up bracket on the intake and a tab I added to the distributor. I set a min and max timing stop on each side using self tapping screws on the base of the dizzy. I could then change the timing by unlocking the knob and pushing or pulling to advance or retard the distributor.
Hokey, but it worked great......till the loose dizzy helped the timing gears self destruct.

ummmmm.... do i even need to answer that one???...
i suppose my most unique one would be the spotlight custom made out of a 727 landing light and a slide hammer handle... then i took a 3 prong thread on plug and mounted it in the dash with a relay and a switch in the spotlight... when you flip the switch it connects the ground and activates the relay sending power to the light... so the plug is dead unless the light is hooked up and the switch is on...
oh... and it's a 250 watt bulb... so it's bright...J.E.E.P
