NOT NEEDED anymore!
I cut all the rot out, and made a new peice from 1/8" X 2" angle iron for the whole section to patch the frame. Bends turned out to be no problem for me and its all going to be taken care of. Tomorrow im making finishing cuts, going to drill the holes (for mounting the skidplate) and plan to have the patch welded in before the day is over.
