Man you are spot on lucky to find someone with that much interest and enthusiasm. Wish I lived closer to TX cause I would bring him a 12v 5.9 and a 76 Cherokee Chief.
    1989 XJ , 4 1/2" lift , 31's....soon to get a rebuilt D44 trac loc rear.

1976 Cherokee ...currently stock soon to get the 401 and axles from a 77 J20

They just sent me a txt letting me know they were home and the engine is all tucked away in the shop. Love that shot of my Waggy in the background.

I agree and feel pretty fortunate. Hanging out with them on a road trip today, it is clear that they are just really into doing this stuff, and Aaron appears to be exactly the right guy for the job.

Aaron got held up a bit last week with a failed engine lift, and dealing with the weather, but things are rolling again this week. The engine/tranny/t-case came out yesterday. Look at all that room under there!

            Very cool.
I'd really like to see a video of it running and driving after it's done.

How well do you think a 4bt will perform in your Wagon?

Yup, sure did, and he has already taken about 200 pictures too. Not sure if you caught the link in the first post, but this is the first video that he put up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7tGXi7N9ZM

His original goal was 6 weeks from start to finish. We are still under 3 weeks and he has made pretty quick work of much of it so far. 6 weeks seems very aggressive to me, but I am just about the slowest SOB ever when it comes to work like this. We have also discussed a couple of little side modifications while it's there, so that may impact the timeline a bit. Considering I am taking up a bay in his shop, I doubt he wants to keep it any longer than he needs to!
