Thank for posting that picture. I never thought there would be a dinky little terminal on the back. I may well have had that kind in my autos, since I was picturing "5 terminal" meaning it had three boobs instead of two.
Wow, I can feel my brain getting stronger!

That is exactly it!!!! That is the one hooked up on the passenger fender! I really think that is the complete issue but can't find one like it anywhere. Will the relay you are talking about work in its place Dan? I found a picture and it's a lot different.

Ok the prongs in the middle... Do I need them connected to anything if I don't have any of my emissions crap any more. I don't have EGR anymore with the Edelbrock Intake Manifold.

A wire. I have no clue where that wire goes but there is something there.

The middle terminal goes to the starter solenoid, so you need it. (I) get's power from the key in "start" and (G) needs to be grounded, as you have an auto, it's grounded through the transmission.
(BAL) would go to the balast resistor on the coil side for a hotter spark on start up. You have HEI so you shouldn't need it. The (BAT) terminal also connects to the starter, so your starter has 12v all the time, but the middle terminal sends the solenoid 12v which engages the armature AND energizes the starter motor.

Once you start talkin' HEI...I'm out of the picture. I'm running everything stock except for the Holly ProJection fuel system....and I can't run out to look at which wire runs where til the Jeep is out of the shop in a couple of days from now. sorry mate.
Quick update found the passenger side relay at OReillys. It's part number:
Master Pro Ignition - Relay
2DR1022
Multi-Function Relay
I ordered it this morning and should be in tomorrow at 7am from Houston. It has the hot lead from battery and the five prongs or posts for ground, starter, etc...Just like the picture above. OReillys was the only place I could find this part. Hopefully that will fix this last gremlin and I can put a DONE stamp on the rebuild and move on to other projects. The redneck method of shutting down my Waggy is working but looks a little silly from a bystander point of view.
