Is anyone making door Sill Plates?

I am looking for someone who is making door sill plates for the 63-72 Wagoneer/ jtruck.

I’m looking for 3 sets for the wagoneer, and three sets for the j trucks. I have several sheets of what I think are period correct aluminum sheets- but perhaps a bit thicker gauge.

Thanks! I followed that build, his work is flawless, but I was not sure if he made parts for other builders.

Hi Adam, Yes I make and have sold parts. I have quite a few fire wall pad sets out there. Same with door sill plates. Ribbed lower tailgate panels, early reverse light ribbed over lays, etc. The tailgate panels are correct for pattern, the door sill plates are close but not the same as I could not find the correct embossing.
I am half way through a new soft top for a M715 truck. It is on the M715zone. I see you on there so you probably have seen it. It is taking me a long time to finish. I need to finish that and have some other things I need to get back to. I can probably get you your sill plates. But I can't do it tomorrow.
Regarding the metal you have, I would have to see it and see how thick it is. Maybe post a picture of it.

Thanks for the detailed response. I sent you a PM, or two (I noticed my posts and messages seem to get cut off and I have not solved the the riddle of how to avoid that).

No worries on a time frame- your quality work takes time and we all value that. I'm am waiting on the M715 top to be vetted, that's going to be worth the wait, too. I'm certainly interested in one of those, too!

I'll send pics of the embossed panels to you through FSJ Network, ok?

          Thanks!

I am not able to log on to FSJ network right now. Sending a new password is not working. After thinking about it, I would prefer to use the metal I have found to work. Using something different could open a can of worms.

I left you a voicemail on your phone and I did not want to send pics via text as I was not sure what kind of plan you are on up so far up north. I tried sending pics of the metal through FSJNetwork, but your handle on did not pop up on that site.

Either source of material works for me. I only mention what I have as you mentioned what you had was close, so I wanted to give you the option.

Lets do one set of each for now. 1 set of 4 for a 66 Wagoneer, and a set for a 1963 J truck. You seem busy as usual with a lot to do for neighbors and builds.

                  Hi Adam,

Tried to send a PM. Your box is full. Cell phone does not work here anymore. They turned down the signal. Plus texts have been turned off for 10 years now.
Hopefully the email will make it back to you. I put my land line and email address in there. I will check tomorrow to see if I have enough embossed metal. If I don't I will order some. I have a lot going on. I can make them but not tomorrow...

                  Hopefully email will work...

I am still curious to see the metal you have. I searched world wide for the correct pattern. No go.. The ribbed tailgate panels, I found the correct pattern material in the UK. Then found a source here in the USA. But they keep sending me scratched garbage... Anyway, curious to see what you have regardless.

Hahaha, there are plenty of quirks, but it is still a source of good info. I just wish it had better image hosting capabilities.

I sent you an email about the measurements.

It is freaking cold here, too! I am just trying to clean up my work space so I can fire up the stove tomorrow for the next round on the 401 install on my FC. Burrr!
