Wife calls my '87 GW the generic "Woody" or "The Heep" and more recently "The Piece C--- In The Front Yard". I refer to it as "DogWood". Dog because the main use is to haul my 5 large dogs around town and the Wood is kinda obvious. I also thought it a play on words being that Dogwood is a tree and recently it seems to rooted to the ground.

When my truck was still a Cherokee Chief my dad started calling it Chief Bowels (he kept repeating a line from one of his favorite jokes - "Chief Bowels no move!"). Even though it shed the chief badges with the body swap he is sticking with the name. My wife has always refered to each of the FSJs that I've had as "the ugly jeep". My CJ is named Lizzy.

I refer to it as "the wag" but this road trip has made me think of a few more names for it.

The 83 Cherokee is "Gus" and the 88 Grand Wagoneer is "Johnson"... or in recent years referred to as the "Johnson Project".

My wife named it Janna's Beast when it was her daily driver. I'm good with that. When it runs. When it doesn't, many, many other names come to mind...

I named my jeep Setsuna after the character from Negima. She was a keychain that was connected to my first set of car keys. The character in the series is also a half-demon for reference.

My baby of 18 years, my avatar, started out bouncy and was fun funfun so it got the tag Tigger hence my screen name ... she is sorely missed

As of late my daughter has since named my white '74 J-10 "Snoopy" ... the '78 I picked up from Rocket Dog is "Old Blue", and the '79 I got from SongMan has been dubbed the "Brown Bomber". The '67 Gladiator is the boat of 'em all and hogs quite a bit of the garage and is fulla parts so its been christened "The Barge".

The other garage occupant is "The Colonel", as in Colonel Sanders ... cuz parts is parts!
