Picture of FSJ parked next to WJ?

I've been researching Jeep wagons lately and I noticed that the WJ and FSJ share very similar exterior dimensions.

I don't believe what I'm reading but I've never seen one parked next to the other.

Does anyone have any images of these two Jeeps together?

The FSJ seems so much larger inside. Being slab sided has its benefits I guess.

Also due to the fact that it's mostly metal (the SJ). Very little in the way of padding and interior panels, and arm rests, and other plastic pieces that cover up lots of wiring for lots of sensors, etc. The plastic in the WJ takes up a LOT of space when all put together. You shell one of those, and you'll probably have about the same amount of interior space. You just won't be able to drive it. LOL

        WJ
        181.6 x 72.6 x 70.3
        FSJ
        186.4 x 74.8 x 66.4

Close enough as to not make much difference externally. The "bubbly" WJ looks so much smaller from the outside.

          186.4 x 74.8 x 66.4 : FSJ
          181.6 x 72.6 x 70.3 : WJ
          186.7 x 84.2 x 68.7 : WK
          189.8 x 84.8 x 69.3 : WK2

austinaubinoe posted this image in the FSJ photo thread (WK2 next to a FSJ).

Still looks smaller in spite of the numbers - wondering if I should trust Wikipedia's numbers.

WJ next to a FSJ? Anyone?

Just the same sort of pic... side by side to see how they compare is all I'm interested in.

'04 WJ and '89 SJ They are very similar in size. But as mentioned before all the plastic and safety updates make it quite a bit smaller internally.

(btw, still thinking about the full float axle things we exchanged emails about... direction more or less finalized... I'll probably send you an email at some point - lol)

You know what's funny, the Patriot was actually pretty close in size to Levi; it's just not as wide, and not as tall.

unfortunately, I don't have the photo of it anymore.

I can get a pic of a WJ, SJ and a Patriot together if anybody wants to see how they compare. Not that the Patriot is a real Jeep. But it is a pretty comfortable, roomy and fuel efficient front wheel drive car that has the same interior space as an XJ.
