Question we got last year: What time does the campground gate close?

Answer: We don't close the gate.

Here's a diagram of the camping area to help you plan where to camp. The entrance gate is not locked so night time arrivals are ok. Site A is for Club members. Site B and C offer shaded walk-in camping with central fire pits. Other grassy camping spots offer car-side camping.

The raffle tent is also a welcome tent, visit us here for any information about the event.

Are the easy trails doable for stock/non-upgraded rigs? My 88 is a little saggy, 4wd isnt working (yet), etc but I'd love to have an excuse to try and make it!

I did several trails the first year I went with a stock sagging spring waggy with 31 inch tires.... I was amazed at what a stock 30 year old waggy could do. I ended up with no body damage, but I did crush my Y pipe somewhat, no biggie. A lot of fun, even for stock trucks.

depends on the weather. If it's raining, even some of the easy trails can get messy. That red clay turns slick as snot. I'd make sure the 4wd is working 100% and decent tires for a stocker. Otherwise you end up blocking the trails or holding back the group.

also a good idea to install some recovery points on the front end and have your own tow strap and a decent farm jack.

              ***break***

I'm not rocking the waggy anymore sadly and if we don't end up heading south for vacation, I might shoot over there in the CJ7 and stay on the lake.

Hey Folks, I am very confused..
This says 15-18June, but the CFSJC website says 09-12June. Which are we?
I have starting making arrangements to try to get there 09-11, but am now thinking I am a week early?
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

It looks as if you're a week early and a year late; '16 was June 9-12, '17 is slated for June 15-18.
I hope you are not in a bind with time off to be there. On the plus side, you have another week to prepare.
                    See ya?

thanks. I swear the CFSJ ECI News page said 09-12 June 2017, but i just went back there and it states 15-18. Operator error on my part, obviously.

We are adjusting and will be there. No FSJ this year, just the YJ mutt (has GW axle housings, if that counts..)
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

Pretty excited, going to be bringing the kids this year. We may spend some time in the canoe at the lake this year. Anyone coming from Tennessee want to wagon train we are heading up Friday morning.
