I would install a set of Chevy 64" leafs out back for flex. If you don't want to flex, then go with a set of either 52" or 56" all they way around.

alcan spring can make custom spring built to your specs, i got quoted at 1100 for a set of 12" springs all the way around, military wraped eyes and the whole nine yards

88-98 on the 1/2 ton trucks, and yes you will need to weld on new perches. I would take some measurements and see how well a set of 56" chevy spring would work up front.

1988-1998 2wd and 4wd chevy 1500 trucks. I got them in the back of mine and they flex like a 4 link and ride like a caddy. I have a reverse shackle set up as well it wasn't hard to do I got all my brackets from ballistic fabrication and welded everything up.
