I had mine "broken into" through the non-locking door. I thought he stole my volt meter but later found it behind the seat; presumably from where he sat down in it to look for anything worth taking, causing it to fall between the seat crack. Nothing was missing.

I like to think I provided a service to my neighbors by wasting his time.

I bought my GW from the dealership I work at, with no door keys. I tend to procrastinate a lot, so I still don't have door keys. I never lock it. I just try to not leave anything anyone would want in any of my vehicles. My old mustang was broken into 3 times, without much value to the theif. Haven't had problems in quite a while, but that might be because I make a habbit of walking in and out of the house to the truck toting arms full of guns from time to time

Mine is spewing more fluids these days. More so than Linda Blair. People run away and little kids cry. Pretty sure I'm safe from theft.

Its easy to make an FSJ secure: Large, high current, 5,000 volt power supply on an inverter hooked into the frame.

            Seriously... I HAVE done this.

Not sure if anyone touched it or not but you can bet none of my stuff was taken

Well when it starts floating 4 feet above the driveway, you got a problem.

I do have a Rottweiler myself.

As for breaking in, the more rusty the truck is, the less you have to worry about truck being stolen. Who would want to have frame break into 2 pieces if on a getaway??

The cherokee is a little more 'showy' with it's bright red paint job/lift and tires. The waggy, by the end, wasn't something that looked like it was worth breaking into. I kept figuring that one day someone was going to leave a dollar or two under the window wipers.
They did Mike, and I got it both of them. Thank

My neighbors across the street used to try to start problems until they saw us getting ready to go out shooting one day. I guess the three of us in BDUs loading numerous shotguns, rifles, and pistols into my jeep was enough to scare them off.

I think my jeep comes across as something a crazy redneck would drive and if anyone messed with it they would get shot or beaten to death and buried in the back 40. I left an ipod that I got for free and didnt work on the dash for over a month with the doors clearly unlocked and sometimes with the window rolled down. Nobody ever touched it even though someones car was broken into with just 1 or 2 cds laying on the seat here.
