    NOTHINGS HAPPENING!!!

    ok can anyone out there tell me if there is a diagram for the connectoers under the dash? I'VE HAD THE STEERING COLOM OUT AND HAD ALOT OF THE PLUGS DISCONNECTED ... nothings happening when i turn the key... there are a few plugs un hooked but i cant find where they go.. grrr

            I don't think it is abnormal to have a few connections hanging not hooked up. Or atleast it isn't for a J truck. none of mine have all the options a waggy has and I have connectors hanging loose going nowhere but the truck runs fine.

            I think the only way to track this down would be to check each component in the system until fire is made. Did you by any chance knock the connection loose down low where the neutral safety switch is?

            Do all your lights work?

            A Technical Service Manual for the 91 year is your best friend for Jeep info. It will have the wiring diagrams also.

              ok i have all my lites.. however i do not have anything that is controlled by the key can any snap me a pic of the clips that connect under the dash? i.e. the ignition switch specificly?

                  Well, fi everything is working, except items that are energized by the key, I would take a close look at your column install, specifically ensuring that the connectors are properly locked together, etc. I would also have a look at the linkage which connects the key cylinder to the actual switch. Chances are, that your problems are going to be related to the actual work you did(removing and replacing column).
