    coil conversion

    any body done this
    i want to go from leafs to coils
    wat coils etc..
    is this worth while
    is there another vehicle i can use parts from
    as of right now shes lifted 6in and thats as high as shes going

    I did it this past weekend, the Motorcraft ignition module on my 78 was puking good down the fenderwell so I upgraded to a big cap, Ford TFI coil, new wires and swapped the MC module for a GM module. Took a few hours, easy and runs great.

    I think the coil and wires are from an 89 Ford pickup without EEC.

          There was a thread on here a few years ago that detailed the installation of basically the front suspension of a Bronco. It had tons of pictures (which are probably gone) and lots of detail. I think he used some Duff?? parts to get around a 6" lift.
