Next was to get the fuel tank tool box in the bed and hooked up. I cut strips of 1/4 neoprene rubber and placed them on the ribs to keepmetal to metal contact isolated

The fuel lines are run tank to injection pump. There is also 100' of 2/0 cable for the winches, batteries, etc. They were all secured to the frame.

Most of th weekend was figuring out throttle and fuel linkages.

I did get the 1410 yoke on the 14B and installed the pinion guard

I have been out of loop on 715 builds for a couple of years and somehow missed this. Awesome build!

I'm still around. The economy and some other issues have been keeping me down and out of touch with the things I like. Still love the 715. I wore one set of the 12.50's out already...2 years, daily street driven with lockers, they did good. I am supposed to pick up a '97 Ram with a 5.9 in it. Thinking about pulling the 4bt out and swapping. Your truck is the proper inspiration for this!

                            Keep up the great work!

Man, I don't even know where to begin with all the comments that went through my mind while I took the time to really read this thread. I've mentioned in my thread how much great info I've taken off the 'net because others made the effort to post it. This thread is the perfect example of that. Thank you.

What really drew me into your build is that so many things you've done are in line with what's in the future for my truck.

You've helped solve some of my future build steps I knew were coming, but I haven't thought about yet. For that, "Thank you", again.

You know you've found a good thread when there's about a kazillion things you want to quote in your post. At the risk of being too vulgar for a family orientated forum, I chose the below post to quote. It just about caused me to mess my shorts when I saw it. In my head I can visualize exactly how I wanted to paint my engine and compartment. I now know what it will look like, except my firewall will be the color of the truck. Thank you, again. Would you mind sharing the exact maker and paint number for the biege you chose? Are the engine and hood the same? I just spent the weekend looking at paint samples and never found the exact color I had in my minds eye. All along an example of it has been sitting here in your thread.

I'm going to stop swooning over your build like a teenage girl over the current hot pop star because I've thoroughly embarrassed myself. Excellent build.

                                Resbum,

Thank you for the reply. I am pleased you read the build up and found it helpful. The beige is Cummins Beige and the black is Cummins Titanium. Ill be painting the whole truck in those two colors.

Hopefully Ill get some updates going soon......been in Europe snowboarding and been a little slow getting back into things.

Feel free to PM me anytime
