Removed my factory fuel tank and skid plate. Which might I add if anyone is interested, it will be up for grabs. Will be posting in the for sale section soonish.
Wiped some graffiti off the rear bumper and removed three bumper stickers left by one of the previous owners. A small victory, but victory nonetheless.

You ever wonder what medieval cook looked at the guts of a pig and thought, "I bet if you washed out that poop tube, you could stuff it with meat and eat it."
Changed my Tie-rod end that connects to the pitman arm on my 79. Replaced the oil in my rear Diff, and painted the cover to match the pickup. Tried to get the rear passenger side brake drum on the 63.
Worked up the nerve to figure the fuel mileage in the wagoneer. I had been putting it off thinking that actually seeing how bad it was, would cause me to drive it less.
Turns out, it's not as bad as I though it was going to be. I tried not to be too easy on it (wanted real world average). I think I got a pretty good mix of highway, in town, and even working around the farm, and to my surprise, I'm getting 13mpg.
It's not as bad as I feared, and I think with a little more tuning (I suspect that the choke is sticking), I might be able to squeeze a little more out of it.
1987 Grand Wagoneer,
well worn, bone stock, with 120K miles.
added a snow plow, and looking for a lift.
Dragged out the camper to give it an airing out and cleaning, its been in the family since it was bought new in 84. The plan is to repaint the camper to match the Jeep one day.
