Doctor will probably let me start driving again tomorrow. Found out my neighbor was hit and killed by a drunk driver on Highway 2 last week. After everything he’s been through and survived before it seems crazy. (He had brain cancer, liver cancer, Hep C and they had just pronounced him clear again)
Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental.

Glad to hear the good news Carnuck. You are not done here just yet.
It sounds like you feel much better already.

My mom (RIP sweetheart) lived on the south side of hiway 2 just out of Index back in the early 80's. There were drug problems up there back then.
We all loved her cabin and had many a family function there, but were always cautious of strangers that would drive up and turn around. She was in her kitchen doing dishes one evening and turned around to see a man at her door looking in at her while she washed. She was alone. He ran off and I bought her a pistol and proceeded to educate her on it. She eventually sold the place and it was missed by all. This was before the big wave of meth hit and the theft problems that went with it.
My wife and I moved 5 years ago from Oregon and from being surrounded by meth and other hard drugs. It was the best thing we ever did. At the time it felt like we got defeated and we lost. But in reality we won big time. We now live in Gods country with tons of wild animals and no crime at all. Our neighbors are for the most part normal, out of sight and not difficult to be around. We are SO glad we left. Peace at home and all around you is worth working for. I hope you are able to find a solution with that and either your neighbor commits a serious enough crime to go away or finishes his bad decision on drug use and goes away from what ever reason.
Glad to hear the good news. Sorry about the stuff you have had to put up with.. wow. I am also very sorry about your neighbor.

Hoping you have a speedy recovery and being able to get back to the projects or anything you want to do. That is pretty sad about your neighbor. Survive all that and be killed by a drunk.
