  • Heart surgery tomorrow ends my projects

They are putting in a new valve through the aorta unless things go south I’ll be recuperating over a couple days. Docs didn’t like the look of the spine damage due to wear and tear plus the rollover crash when I was run off the road by the drug cooking neighbor. Over the summer my projects have been stripped of many parts by his thieving buddies. Our place will be for sale either way as I won’t be able to do anything myself. Even video of one of them trespassing and stealing the wiring harness and parts from my Comanches wasn’t enough to have him trespassed. They are making life hell for everyone in the area.
This time I’m not bouncing right back, but whatever happens there will be a pile of bills and everything that they have stolen from my family and others keeps these crack roaches alive (auto incorrect changed the word, but it seems fitting)
Now our lives of work are reduced to near zero and my wife (who recently had her own health issues to deal with) has a pile of bills to deal with.

best wishes Carnuck, doesn't sound like much can get you down, but if you're struggling please know that we're (i'm) thinking of you.

          Dang...

I know what it's like to be in bad health and I feel for you. It sucks to not be able to do all the things you once could, I'm still adjusting.

Good luck on the surgeries and heal fast!

Wishing you a speedy recovery, I always enjoy your sense of humor and your broad knowledge.

Are you getting a mechanical or a "natural" valve? open chest or TAVR? sounds like a TAVR...

Too bad about the noxious neighbors, it is always terrible to have to endure the pilfering from known people

Going for the tavr. Hopefully they won’t have to crack me open.

Great news, no chest busting needed, it is like a stent, going thru the femoral artery

                  Good vibes for your procedure

sounds like you need an iwi tavor to deal with the neighbor issue...

Man, that's a rough hand you have been dealt. I am glad you have doctors to help, a wife to support, and mind that is still sharp. Praying for you, your wife, and your doctors. I'd rather have any of those 3 than a cool FSJ. Bills suck but not as much as losing someone important.

As a wise man once said: We wish you Godspeed.

Wow, that sounds like a series of tough pills!

Here's hoping that your surgery went well, your recovery is swift, and karma pays a visit to those neighbors. Healing and health to you, Carnuck.

I made it! A week ago I could almost be mistaken for a zombie. Now my blood O2 is 97% without trying hard. The feeling that I went a couple rounds with a dwarf using the family jewels for a speed bag!
